Logistics company joins tenant roster in Kettering business park

A logistics and transportation company has joined the tenant list at Kettering business park.

Exxact Express opened a 3,000-square-feet office yesterday at Sixth River business park, 2155 Research Park Blvd.

The staff of 20 handles frreight brokerate operations.

The Lakeland, Florida-based logistics and transportation company opened a terminal in Vandalia in 2021.

Nine people are employed at the 50,000-square-feet facility that see 30-45 trucks pass through.

“Exxact is committed to building a partnership with the city of Dayton,” a spokesperson for the company said. “We think Dayton is uniquely situated geographically to service the Ohio market and look forward to bringin our 36 years of history in the southesast to that region.”

Other tenants at Sixth River Business Park include the U.S. Air force, Industrial Commercial Perperties (ICP), Wright State University, NFM Lending and N-ASK.

Sixth River Business Park is a group of five buildings within Miami Valley Research Park that ICP is workiing to upgrade.

“We are excited to welcome a growing company like Exxact Express to Sixth River, said Dean Miller, senior vice president for ICP. “Exxact will join our expanding roster of tenants, including our own Dayton office.”

Miller said Exxact will benefit from an onsite ownership presence with a proactive management group.

“ICP made a sizable investment into the moderinazation at the park in both the buildings and the surrounding campus,” he said. “Sixth River has become a desirable option for companies searching for high-image office space with large, contiguous blocks also available.”
